Applied Finance with R is an annual community-run, non-profit conference, through which distinguished academics, quants, finance professionals and local R leaders demonstrate the latest in finance using the popular R programming language.

It was just announced that the 12th edition of this event will take place in Chicago, IL, USA, on June 5-6, 2020.

Keynote presentations consistently draw equal interest from seasoned algo traders, novice quants and university students. In addition, leaders in R programming such as R Core member Luke Tierney and JJ Allaire, Founder of RStudio, to name a few, deliver powerful presentations with the latest trends in R.

Furthermore, the #rfinance event topics focus on the robust and versatile performance of R as applied in portfolio management, time series analysis, econometrics and other fields.
